"Clocking Cultures" By: Carol Ezzell
I feel as if Ezzell's purpose best fits into all realm(academic, professional, civic, and personal). I feel this way because in the article Ezzell states that "Indeed, the way members of a culture precieve and use time reflects their society's priorities and even their worldview." Which to me mean that people themselves look at time different. According to where you live different cultures place different value on time. Some people determine how important time is to them by what has been done in their past. Professionally those with higher authority have exempted themselves from not being on time but keep someone of lower status waiting. Acedemically people in our society aren't focused on time but living for right now.
